Chen Deng is the Founder and Executive Director of the Norman Bethune International Institute of Canada for Healthcare Innovation (NBIIC-HI), a Canada-based platform dedicated to advancing mechanism-informed translational medicine, healthcare innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. With nearly two decades of experience across biomedical and biopharmaceutical research, translational medicine, and international academic collaboration, he leads the development of NBIIC-HI as a platform connecting scientific research, clinical expertise, healthcare innovation, and global partnerships.
As a Cross-Border Biomedical Translation & Venture Builder, he works at the intersection of science, clinical needs, innovation, and international collaboration, connecting researchers, clinicians, healthcare institutions, technology platforms, and industry partners worldwide. Through NBIIC-HI, he advances international research collaboration, translational innovation, strategic project development, talent development, and global partnerships, helping promising scientific discoveries progress toward validation, translation, and real-world application.
