The NBIIC-HI Research Strategy Membership Program is currently being introduced on a limited pilot basis.
During the pilot phase, membership capacity, participation formats, program resources, support arrangements, and membership details may be refined in response to member participation, operational experience, professional feedback, and program evaluation.
Membership arrangements and benefits confirmed for an active membership period will be honored in accordance with the terms accepted at enrolment, unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing.

NBIIC-HI currently offers three pilot membership pathways for individual researchers and professionals.

Selected group sessions may address research-direction development, publication planning, grant positioning, clinical-to-research translation, international collaboration preparation, and related professional topics.
Limited research-direction feedback is based on a brief, non-confidential research summary and is intended to provide preliminary strategic guidance. It does not include complete manuscript review, full grant assessment, detailed research-roadmap development, or unlimited consultation.

This annual planning document may organize the member's principal research themes, planned publications, funding priorities, available clinical or technical resources, collaboration needs, and proposed development milestones.
Funding and Collaboration Opportunity Brief
Each brief may identify selected funding directions, research programs, training opportunities, or potential collaboration pathways relevant to the member's background and development priorities.
Reviews and consultations focus on scientific direction, research logic, positioning, feasibility, innovation potential, and recommended next steps. They do not automatically include full manuscript editing, complete grant preparation, statistical analysis, experimental execution, application management, or unlimited revision.

Mid-Year Portfolio Review
The mid-year review examines progress against the annual research portfolio, identifies emerging priorities or barriers, and supports appropriate adjustment of research, publication, funding, and collaboration plans.
Priority assessment does not guarantee expert participation, institutional acceptance, funding, academic appointment, project placement, publication, or access to any specific collaboration opportunity.

Included consultations, reviews, planning activities, or opportunity briefs that are not used within the applicable membership year do not automatically carry forward to a future membership year.

Membership does not constitute:
Members may not use the NBIIC-HI name, logo, membership status, or related materials in a manner that suggests formal institutional authority, guaranteed collaboration, funding approval, professional certification, or endorsement without prior written authorization.
Membership provides access to selected information, strategic guidance, academic activities, academic and strategic support, and collaboration opportunities according to the applicable membership pathway.
Membership does not guarantee manuscript publication, grant approval, talent-program recognition, research funding, academic appointment, admission, visa approval, supervisor acceptance, institutional partnership, project participation, commercial success, or any other specific academic or professional outcome.
Specific research, clinical, publication, institutional, commercial, and international activities may require separate review, mutual confirmation, professional agreements, and applicable ethical, financial, legal, regulatory, or institutional approvals.
NBIIC-HI may refine membership capacity, participation formats, program resources, support arrangements, and membership details for future membership years as the pilot program develops.
