NBIIC-HI supports the development of international grant applications and collaborative research projects involving Canadian and global partners, including bilateral and multilateral initiatives coordinated through its Canada-based international platform.
The Institute helps participating teams clarify research concepts, strengthen project structures, identify suitable collaborators and funding pathways, and coordinate participation across institutions and countries.
Support is tailored to the scientific objectives, development stage, institutional requirements, partnership structure, and potential funding pathway of each initiative.
International collaborative projects often require more than a strong scientific idea. Successful development also depends on appropriate partners, complementary capabilities, clearly defined roles, institutional alignment, and a funding pathway that fits the objectives and structure of the proposed collaboration.
